🛠️ Materials You'll Need

  • Paper bags or popsicle sticks
  • Construction paper
  • Markers or crayons
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Yarn (for hair)
  • Fabric scraps (for clothes)

📝 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Make Puppet Bases

Use paper bags or glue popsicle sticks to paper for puppet bases. You'll need 3-4 puppets.

Step 2: Create Characters

Make puppets for: the hurt man, the priest, the Levite, and the Good Samaritan.

Step 3: Add Faces

Draw faces on each puppet with markers. Add yarn for hair.

Step 4: Make Clothes

Cut fabric or paper to make clothes for each character. The Samaritan should look different from the others.

Step 5: Add Details

Add bandages to the hurt man, fancy robes to the priest, and a kind smile to the Samaritan.

Step 6: Act Out the Story

Use your puppets to tell the story of the Good Samaritan!
