Faithfulness
Faithfulness means being reliable and keeping your promises. God is always faithful to us, and He wants us to be faithful too—to Him, to others, and to our commitments.
"Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart."
— Proverbs 3:3
Bible Story: Daniel Prays Faithfully
Daniel 6
Daniel prayed to God three times every day, no matter what. When a new law said people couldn't pray to God, Daniel kept praying anyway! He was thrown into a den of lions as punishment, but God protected him because he was faithful. Daniel's faithfulness to God saved his life and showed everyone God's power.
How to Practice Faithfulness
- Keep your promises to friends and family
- Finish tasks you start, even when they're hard
- Pray to God every day, not just when you need something
- Be a reliable friend who others can count on
- Take care of responsibilities like pets or chores
