Self-Control
Self-control means making good choices and controlling your actions, even when you want to do something wrong. With God's help, you can have the power to make wise decisions!
"Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control."
— Proverbs 25:28
Bible Story: Joseph Resists Temptation
Genesis 39
Joseph worked in Potiphar's house, and Potiphar's wife tried to get Joseph to do something wrong. Joseph knew it was wrong, so he ran away! He chose to do the right thing even though it was hard. Joseph showed great self-control, and God blessed him for his good choices.
