Noah's Ark Craft
📖 Bible Connection
Story: Noah's Ark (Genesis 6-9)
Lesson: God keeps His promises and protects those who obey Him. Just like God saved Noah and the animals in the ark, He takes care of us too!
Key Verse: "I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth." - Genesis 9:13
🛠️ Materials You'll Need
- 1 empty shoe box or small cardboard box
- Brown construction paper or paint
- Scissors (ask an adult for help)
- Glue or tape
- Markers or crayons
- Animal stickers or draw your own animals
- Cotton balls (for clouds - optional)
- Blue paper (for water - optional)
📝 Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ark
Cover your shoe box with brown construction paper or paint it brown. This will be your ark! Let it dry if you used paint.
Step 2: Make the Roof
Cut a piece of cardboard to make a roof for your ark. You can make it pointy like a triangle or flat. Attach it to the top of the box with glue or tape.
Step 3: Add Windows and Doors
Draw windows and a big door on the side of your ark with markers. Remember, the door needs to be big enough for all the animals!
Step 4: Add the Animals
Use animal stickers or draw animals on small pieces of paper and cut them out. Remember, Noah took two of each kind! Put them in or around your ark.
Step 5: Add Details
Make it special! Add cotton ball clouds, blue paper for water, or draw a rainbow. You can also draw Noah and his family!
Step 6: Play and Learn
Use your ark to retell the story of Noah! Talk about how God kept Noah safe and how He keeps us safe too.
