God's Love

God loves you no matter what. When we know that, we can love others too!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

β€” John 3:16

Scroll to your child's age (or do one section together as a family):

πŸ“– For Ages 4–6

God loves you! He made you and He is happy when you talk to Him. He loves you when you're good and when you make mistakes. His love never stops.

Talk about it:

  • Who loves you at home? (Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc.) God loves you too!
  • How can we show love to someone today?

πŸ“– For Ages 7–9

God's love isn't based on what we doβ€”we can't earn it or lose it. He showed His love by sending Jesus. When we believe in Jesus, we become part of God's family forever.

Talk about it:

  • What does it mean to you that God loves you "no matter what"?
  • How can we show God's love to a friend or family member this week?

πŸ“– For Ages 10–12

God's love is unconditionalβ€”He doesn't love us more when we're "good" or less when we mess up. That kind of love can feel hard to believe, but the Bible says it's true. We can rest in it and then share it with others.

Talk about it:

  • Why do you think people sometimes find it hard to believe God loves them no matter what?
  • What's one way you can show love to someone who's hard to love?

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Family Activity

Love in action: Each person names one way they will show love to someone this week (a hug, helping with a chore, saying "I love you," sharing something). If you have one adult, that adult can do it with one child at a time or all together.

πŸ™ Pray Together

Prayer: Dear God, thank You for loving us so much. Help us to remember Your love and to show love to others. Amen.
