For Every Family
These devotionals work for any family shape: one parent, two parents, grandparents raising kids, or blended families. You can do them at the table, before bed, or in the car. If you have kids of different ages, pick one level or take turns—everyone can join the same activity and prayer.
Choose Your Child's Age
Each devotional has three versions so the words and ideas fit how your child thinks:
Ages 4–6
Ages 7–9
Ages 10–12
- Ages 4–6: Short sentences, simple words, and picture-style ideas. Great for "tell me in one sentence" and short answers.
- Ages 7–9: A bit more story and "why." Questions invite a few sentences and simple examples from life.
- Ages 10–12: Deeper ideas and real-life situations. Questions encourage reflection and connecting faith to everyday choices.
💡 How to Use These Devotionals
- Pick a topic below. Each page has content for all three age groups—scroll to your child's age.
- Read the verse and short story together. Let your child answer in their own words; there are no wrong answers.
- Use the discussion questions to talk. If you have mixed ages, you can ask the younger question first, then the older.
- Do the family activity when you can—it helps kids remember and have fun together.
- End with the prayer. Kids can repeat after you or say their own sentence of thanks.
